The Home Office have recently issued information pertaining to work in the UK as a researcher or academic leader (Global Talent visa).

Here’s what you need to know.

“The Global Talent visa lets you work in the UK in academia or research, if you are a leader or potential leader in one of the following fields”:

  • science
  • medicine
  • engineering
  • humanities

Additionally, the guidance provides information on:

  • What you can/cannot do with a Global Talent visa
  • Eligibility
  • How to apply
  • Applying for an endorsement
  • Applying for the visa
  • Fees
  • If your endorsement application is refused
