Due to coronavirus (COVID-19), you cannot currently make an appointment to scan your ID document. However, once the Home Office resume normal service, there are some requirements.
Here’s what you need to know.

The purpose of the scan is to confirm your identity so that you will be able to make an application to the EU Settlement Scheme. You must bring your biometric passport from an EU country, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland and a mobile phone that can receive text messages or a device that can receive email.
In some instances, a further appointment or ID document may be required to make a decision on your application.

To limit the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), until further notice, our drop-in service and all scheduled appointments will be held remotely. Please be advised that whilst our remote drop-in service will be held on Mondays between 10am – 1:30pm, our Friday service (usually held in Preston) has been cancelled for the foreseeable future.
